Get to Know Me

Matt Braun was inspired to become a real estate agent after seeing how passionate his entrepreneurial friends were about running their own businesses. It held personal appeal as well, given his own real estate experience. Though navigating his first home purchase was a struggle, Matt’s milestone reinforced his belief that with the proper guidance and support, homeownership is attainable for everyone.

Matt brings more than 25 years of luxury sales and marketing experience to his career and a golden-rule philosophy instilled by his family-focused upbringing. Matt expertly handles every aspect of his buyers’ and sellers’ needs, from property assessments, negotiations, and project management to marketing, renovations, and design. A Palo Alto native, Matt serves San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Sunnyvale, and Santa Cruz County.

Matt’s systematic, individualized approach, calming influence, and long-term client relationships have earned him respect from clients and peers alike. His collaborative approach melds in-depth industry expertise with a refined understanding of clients’ unique needs and goals. Combined, these elements result in highly personalized recommendations molded to fit individual clients and their families.

Understanding that the real estate process can come with stress, Matt takes care to maintain a working environment rooted in laughter and enjoyment. Fortified by eternal positivity, Matt analyzes potential issues with a creative eye to develop win-win solutions every time. And his diverse clientele appreciates it: From luxury sales to downsizing and upsizing sellers, retirees, and first-time homebuyers, every client can expect the same degree of Matt’s white-glove service and a client-oriented approach that ensures the best results.

Matt and his wife, Kevina, have three adult children. When he’s not showing his clients’ properties around town, you might find him making beer, smoking Texas-style meats, or cruising on his Harley. An avid wine taster and collector, Matt plans to return in his next life as an Italian winemaker! In addition, he enjoys giving back to his community through his local food bank and annual holiday food drive. When Matt travels, he’s more than happy to return to his two favorite places — Maui and Italy.
